I formerly played with Candye Kane, Earl Thomas, Freddie Brooks, & Thomas Yearsley of the Paladins -- and I have been running my own band since 1999. My usual outfit is a 4-piece (guitar, bass, & drums with either piano or harmonica), but I also put together intimate acoustic duos and large 6- or 8-piece bands. It has always been by goal to provide a traditional, but high-energy electric blues show.
My independently released CD "Ain't No Way" is available to download for free here. It's a bit outdated (2004) but it got some strong reviews in Blues Revue, Living Blues, and other publications when it was originally released. If you dig the music, please leave a donation in support of the next recording. Please share my music as you like and support LIVE roots music whenever possible.
I am a recent transplant to the San Francisco Bay Area from San Diego (via Chicago) and I am trying to make local roots music connections wherever possible. To book the band contact me here, and keep your eyes and ears out for us picking' and hollering' in the San Francisco Bay Area. Full bio here.
